Eryn Dorsey

Texas Licensed Master Social Worker

All my life I was taught that helping others and giving to your community was something one should do to feel whole. My parents both had jobs helping to make a difference in people's lives, and growing up military helped me to meet people from all walks of life and learn how to be helpful to them. I decided to get my degree in Social Work because it gave me the flexibility and knowledge base to approach each situation differently.

I received both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Social Work from the University of Alaska Anchorage. I have been providing counseling services since 2011 and have completed internships with the American Cancer Society, The Medicare Information Office, and South Central Foundation Primary Care. I have worked with a wide variety of clients over the years from adolescents who are experiencing suicidal ideation and crisis, to caregivers who are grieving terminal illness and geriatric patients who are struggling with changes in their health and independence. I also have experience working in inpatient, intensive outpatient, office, and home/community-based settings.

Currently, I am working toward my Licensed Clinical Social Worker certification and am working under the supervision of Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor Megan Coit (License #57180).  Dr. Jones will also provide oversight of my clinical work at Sage Supportive Services, PLLC. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TX License #59263; Expires 6/30/2023). For information on how to verify a license or file a complaint, please go to www.bhec.texas.gov.

My goal for every client is to walk with them on their journey and help them feel validated and heard without judgment. Sometimes a different perspective can make all the difference and sometimes it helps clients just knowing someone is with them. My promise is to be respectful, empowering, and educated on issues to ensure the best results.

Mary Landers

Texas Licensed Clinical Social Worker

For those who struggle with depression and anxiety, it can feel like everyone else’s life is much easier. As a person-centered therapist, I strive to assist those who are bogged down with worry and stress to establish how to cope with daily frustrations as well as long-term trauma that can create barriers to success. As an eclectic practitioner, I strive to tailor my client’s sessions to who they are as individuals and use a collaborative therapeutic relationship to make the most of this life they are given. I primarily utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy with elements of compassion-focused therapy and systems theory to help individuals face the world equipped with confidence. I offer holistic support while maintaining boundaries. I do not offer advice but instead, help my clients create their own solutions and focus on processes that work for them. As a licensed social worker for nine years, I bring my experiences to my practice. I specialize in grief work, and women’s issues, and have experience working with men, women, and nonbinary individuals from ages 8-to 100 years old. Kristen Frosio Pic_edited.jpg

Kristen Frosio

Texas Licensed Psychologist

“I understand the brain, I understand behavior, I understand neurochemical changes. But the way to understand a person, a human being, is their life experiences; how they grew up, where they come from, what’s important to them, what they’ve learned. Your life is important. Your life and your experiences are what matter. That’s how you understand.” –Kristen Frosio, PhD

Dr. Frosio is a dedicated, proactive, and enthusiastic psychologist passionate about providing evidence-based, integrated, and flexible psychological services to adults with enduring and complex mental health conditions. Dr. Frosio is committed to collaboration, transparency, and understanding the whole person she works with. She is experienced in assessment (standardized assessment, clinical interviews, and risk assessment), formulation, and treatment of adults with complex mental health needs. Her clinical training focused on cognitive behavioral interventions, which allow an integration of different therapeutic modalities and draw on an extensive evidence-base. However, as a Native American woman reclaiming her language and traditions, she consciously exercises valuation of both Western and traditional approaches to mental wellness; meaning she is dedicated to incorporating other ways of knowing into her clinical praxis.

Dr. Frosio spent 5 years trying to figure out how to “do college” at her local junior college. As a first-generation college student, her parents never pressed her to go to college. Work was most important. As soon as she could get a worker’s permit, she was working. She met a professor that helped her figure out how to transfer to a university. She received her B.A. in psychology from San Diego State University. She went back to where her people originated in Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma State University for her M.S. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Dr. Frosio completed her externship in Trauma and Deployment Recovery Services at the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs (VA). She completed her pre-doctoral internship in Acute Crisis Intervention at the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, IL. Finally, Dr. Frosio completed a post-doctoral residency at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center with a focus in serious mental illness. She is the first family member to earn a Ph.D.

For fun, Dr. Frosio enjoys spending time with family, watching “trash TV”, and researching ways to
improve equity in healthcare for people who have been marginalized.

Dr. Frosio is a Licensed Psychologist with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TX License #38942; Expires 03/31/2024). For information on how to verify a license or file a complaint, please go to www.bhec.texas.gov.
